Online dating presents a less stressful way to search for and meet people with similar interests, and the popularity of these services are growing each day. One in five American adults ages 25-34 have tried online dating, according to a Pew Research Center study. Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma is encouraging Oklahomans to do their research before settling on an online dating service.

Don’t fall in love with the advertising. Advertising can often sound prettier than the actual product or service. Be skeptical of claims such as, “an exclusive network of people,” “for sincere daters only,” or “beautiful singles just like you.”
