What are you doing Saturday?

Wanna take a little road trip west?

Sometimes, living in Ardmore, we forget that our surrounding communities both contribute money and workers to our town. And we can offer support to them as well. The woman pictured is Desiree Lynch, the granddaughter of a man I featured a few weeks ago, a hometown favorite of a little town called Wilson. He has been a long time agriculture and horticulture maverick of beauty, and his granddaughter has been both his namesake and inspiration. This picture was taking at Ardmore's Art's in The Park and Earth Day celebration. She brought over plants and her trademark smile to support our event.

Saturday, if you want to add some beauty to your garden, let's drive out and support her at the Des' Veggies Garden Center Spring Fling, from 8:00am-6:00pm on Saturday, you can get great deals to add beauty to your garden and bring flavor to your table.

So head downtown, grab a coffee at Main St. Coffee and then head west my friend, just passed the rolling green pastures, in a little town...expanding the world of our hometown.
