Ira Dale Sampson, age 54, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Ardmore.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Nelda Cemetery with Pastor Robert Taylor officiating.
Dale was born in Talihina, Okla., on Oct. 17, 1960, to Edward Lester Sampson and Irene Thomas (Mose) Sampson. Dale enjoyed cooking, being with his family and loved fishing. He was an active member of Durwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Eddie Ray Sampson and Dennis Gregory Sampson.
Dale is survived by two brothers, Johnny Sampson and wife, Joyce of Ardmore, and Steven Mose and significant other, Jennifer Heffington of Madill; two sisters, Barbara Shoemaker of Ardmore, and Quenna Sampson Martin of Lawton, Okla.; special friends, Kevin “Soggy” Nestell, Paul “Shuggs” Wallace and Jerry “McGuire” Holly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ross Sampson, Tyler Sampson, Brent Henry, Jordan Thomas, Zac Sampson and Vincent Baptist. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Sampson, Chris Sampson and all the rest of the nephews.

A wake service will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Griffin~Hillcrest, Ardmore, Okla.
