Services, celebrating the life of Betty Jean Nash, age 73, are 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. John Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Clearview Cemetery.

Betty was born July 4, 1941, in Ardmore, to Eva Brown Williams and Jessie Sidney Williams. A longtime resident of Ardmore, she worked untiringly. Betty was a caring mother and housewife, who was loving and nourishing to her family and the neighborhood children. She and Prince Nash were married 55 years before his death July 2, 2013.

Others to precede her in death were her parents; brother, Jessie (Teger) Williams; sister, Jewell Hester Qualls; and son, Eric Cornell Nash.

Betty leaves to forever cherish precious memories by five daughters, Phyllis Clark and Colleen Lewis, both of Ardmore, Sherle and her husband, Carl Roberts, Fort Worth, Texas, Patricia Nash, Jawana ‘Shay’ and her husband Matt Tuley, all of Atlanta; four sons, Jackie Nash and his wife, Trish, Christopher Nash, all of Oklahoma City, Anthony Nash and Prince Nash Jr., both of Ardmore; three brothers, Wallace Williams and Nick Brown, both of Ardmore, and Nicolas B. Hollister, Oklahoma City; Betty was the proud grandmother of 47 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; a very special aunt, Mrs. Hester Wood; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services are entrusted to the care of Kirk Funeral Home. Viewal will began at 10 a.m. today. The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 this evening at Kirk Funeral Home Chapel.
