Join guests at the Love County Library for the third book in the Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma series “Many Trails, Many Tribes”.  Dr. Ken Hada will present Mean Spirit by Linda Hogan at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3rd.
Hada will present the evening program with questions and discussion about the early century of Native American government. Learn interesting information about official Stace Red Hawk, who traveled west to find murder, fraud and intimidation.
A tenured professor in the Department of English and Languages at East Central University, Hada graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bartlesville Wesleyan College. He later earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has received several honors including finalist in the Oklahoma Book Award for Poetry in 2010 and 2011.
The final book in the series is Pigs In Heaven, which will be presented Sept. 17, by Barbara Kinsolver.
