Carmell Jamar “Mell” Stoliby, age 18, passed away on Sept. 19, 2015, at Ardmore. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at CrystalRock Cathedral, Ardmore, with Pastor Abraham Watson officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mell was born on Sept. 14, 1997, to Carmell Jamar Houston Sr. and Mila Ann Stoliby at Ardmore. He attended Ardmore High School and The First United Methodist Church of Ardmore.
Mell will be remembered for his smile, he was always making sure there was never a dull moment when he was around. Lovingly known by his family as Man his crazy actions defined his goofy way calling every one cutie. He always presented his self through his clothes with a style that he owned. His sociable personality loved to dance, sing and made him well-known. Mell was unique to his family and will be remembered for his ability to define his family.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Verna Johnson.
Mell is survived by his parents; four sisters: Myesha, Mariah, Destini, and his pride and joy sister, Aiyana; three brothers: Jamell, Destin and Ishmelle; grandparents, Sandra Houston, Ricky Murph, Ramona Perez and Michael Stoliby; great-grandmother, Wanda B. Anderson; great-great-grandmother, Amy Suella Loftis; and numerous relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Valdo De La Rosa, Robert Walker, Shawn Olden and Tim Milo.
Honorary bearers will be Tom Silvas, Max Rippetoe, Jake Masters, Ty Love, Josh Pickens and Jeremy Lewis.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Griffin~Hillcrest.
