Graveside services for Kattie Mable Hooper, 91, will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. John Wiley, pastor of the Springer Missionary Baptist Church.
Born to the late William Edward McDaniels and Annie (Rodgers) McDaniels, September 9, 1924, at Amber, Oklahoma, Kattie passed away Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Family Care Center of Kingston, Oklahoma, following an extended illness.
She and the late Clyde Hooper were married January 11, 1974 at Ardmore.  Clyde preceded her in death, April 28, 1987.  Kattie had worked as a checker at the Humpty Dumpty Grocery in Ardmore.
Kattie is survived by three sons, Earl Russell and his wife, Phyllis, of Madill, Bill Russell and his wife, Peggy, of Ardmore and Kenneth Russell and his wife, Shelley, of Pauls Valley; a daughter, Louise Magruder, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Kattie was preceded in death by her first husband, Owen Russell, the father of her four children; and then by her late husband, Clyde Hooper; also two sisters and six brothers.
