Ardmore police continue to search for the answers to questions surrounding the murders of two local men early Tuesday.
Capt. Eric Hamblin, APD public information officer, said the bodies of Aaron Lavers, 28, and 28-year-old Anthony Rogers were found around 6 a.m. inside an apartment located at 129 A St. NW. Both men had died from gunshot wounds.
APD crime scene technicians worked for several hours Tuesday collecting evidence inside the residence that has been converted into apartments. Meanwhile, investigators began working to piece together the puzzle that will reveal why the two men were killed. Det. Matt Dunn, APD Criminal Investigation Division, leads that investigation.
Anyone who may have seen anyone in or around the premises late Monday or early Tuesday, has information concerning the circumstances surrounding the murders or knows the identity of the person/s responsible are urged to contact police.
Those with information should call police headquarters at (580) 223-1212. Callers can remain anonymous.
