One year ago this month, our nation witnessed one of the worst foreign policy failures of any presidential administration when President Joe Biden decided to withdraw all remaining U.S. troops out of Afghanistan. The aftermath of that decision in the days and weeks that followed was nothing short of disastrous, and the devastation and consequences of this failure remain. Unfortunately, the Biden Administration has still left many questions surrounding this decision unanswered, a true disservice to the American people.

Cowboys make roster cuts

FRISCO (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys waived kicker Lirim Hajrullahu on Tuesday, leaving Brett Maher as the only kicker on the roster going into the final preseason game Friday against Seattle. Hajrullahu and undrafted rookie Jonathan Garibay started training camp on the Dallas roster, but the kicking competition in California didn’t go well.

OKC falls to El Paso in extras

OKLAHOMA CITY — The El Paso Chihuahuas scored four runs in the top of the 10th inning to deal the Oklahoma City Dodgers a 7-3 loss Tuesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. In the 10th inning, El Paso’s Luis Campusano and Kyle Martin each hit two-run homers as the Chihuahuas closed the game with six unanswered runs.
