From the office of Congressman Tom Cole Moore – The Office of Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) is now accepting applications from students seeking nomination for potential appointment to the following U.S. military service academies: the United States Military Academy (West Point, NY), the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis, MD), the United States Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) and the United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point, NY).

Aeronautics Commission meeting to consider record amount of grant funds

Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission This year, 56 different entities will be considered for Aerospace and Aviation Education Program grants totaling more than $451,157 from the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission. The record amount of funding will be used to bring more students in Oklahoma to STEM careers, particularly those in aerospace and aviation.

Judge: Kevin Spacey must pay $30M to ‘House of Cards’ makers

By ANDREW DALTON AP Entertainment Writer LOS ANGELES (AP) — A judge on Thursday ruled that Kevin Spacey and his production companies must pay the makers of “House of Cards” nearly $31 million because of losses brought on by his 2017 firing for the sexual harassment of crew members. The ruling from Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mel Red Recana gives the force of law to the $30.9 award in favor of MRC and other companies that produced the Netflix series by a private arbitrator who heard the case against Spacey.
