The dinner, catered by Two Frogs, will be at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Hall. Dress up in 80’s appropriate attire. Tickets are $50 per person or $300 per table. The Ardmoreite Plant enthusiasts The 2024 Fall Plant Swap will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Sept. 28 as the Marketplace on Broadway located at 106 E. Broadway. Bring a plant and swap it with other gardeners while sharing tips and other useful information. Those who do not have a plant are also invited as beginning gardeners are welcome. Welcome fall in Wilson Wilson will hold its Fall Fest Sept. 28. The celebration will include a parade at 10 a.m. and come complete with vendors and activities throughout the day. Those activities include a 5K run at 7:30 a.m., cornhole tournament, pumpkin decorating contest and the crowning of the Fall Fest King and Queen. Calling all pickleball people The highly anticipated Ardmore Stampede will be Sept. 27-29 at the pickleball complex located within Regional Park. The competition will feature women’s and men’s doubles, mixed doubles and team pickleball. The entry fee is $65. Woodford VFD fundraiser The Woodford Volunteer Fire Department will host its fire department from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 28. There will be a barbecue meal and auction with proceeds going toward supporting the fire department. The department is located at 5483 Woodford Road in Springer. Celebrating Strong Dads The most recent class of the Carter County OSU Extension’s Strong Dads program will be celebrating at Central Park with a community cookout from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 5. Enjoy free food, fun for the kids and connect with other families committed to making a difference. Murder Mystery Dinner The Ardmore Parks and Recreation Department will host Totally Rad Prom Gone Bad, a murder mystery dinner Oct. 5 at Heritage Hall.
