Does reality television get any better than the National Football League? First rule of the offseason, never count out the Cleveland Browns – a team that hasn’t appeared in the Super Bowl but typically causes numerous February-to-August headlines, never more so than Friday afternoon when the club shockingly acquired quarterback Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans. This latest stunner dropped just as it appeared Watson, whose no-trade clause with Houston enabled him to essentially pick his next employer from a group of suitors, had narrowed his finalists to the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

Cuomo files $125 million arbitration after firing from CNN Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo filed a $125 million arbitration against the cable news network Wednesday, alleging his firing from the network was unjustified and has “damaged” his professional reputation. The filing, which also names CNN America and Turner Services, states the arbitration’s multimillion-dollar price tag covers Cuomo’s “remaining salary” under his employment agreement, as well as “future wages lost as a result of CNN’s efforts to destroy his reputation,” according to documents.

Smollett’s ‘Empire’ co-star denounces actor’s jail sentence

Jussie Smollett’s former co-star and sister are among a group of his supporters who say the ex-“Empire” actor’s jail-time punishment does not match the crime. On Thursday, Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail, 30 months of felony probation and ordered to pay restitution and a fine by Cook County Judge James Linn after being found guilty in December of staging a racist and homophobic attack.

Dolly Parton announced she is pulling out of this year’s nominations for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, saying she hasn’t “earned that right.” The music icon who has been elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame explained her decision in a statement posted on her official social media pages Monday, noting she did not want to take votes away from the remaining nominees. “Even though I am extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I don’t feel that I have earned that right.
