It is with profound sadness that the family announces Jeremy Read Elwell, 44, of Ardmore, passed peacefully Monday June 27, 2022, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. He was born August 17, 1977, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, to Leland Read and Betty (Andersen) Elwell.

Sharon Kay Miller, 61, of Reagan, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, surrounded by her loving family and coworkers. Sharon was born on August 5, 1960, in Ardmore, to JV and Peggy (Watkins) Holley.

Services for Ernestine Herndon, 95, will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2022 in the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel with Pastor Becky Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery with the assistance of Chuck Caves, Thomas Herndon, William Herndon and Kyle Kaniho.

Norma Jo Forbes, 90, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away on June 28, 2022. Norma was born on December 18, 1931 to Ivy and Ruth Coady in McAllen, Texas.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held for Robert Wayne Hobbs, 62, Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home. The son of the late Johnny Claude “Buddy” Hobbs and Larretta Eyvonne Garrett West, Robert was born October 13, 1959 at Camp Wolters, Texas, and left this earth for his eternal home on June 23, 2022. Robert served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in August 1987.

Billy Dale Mobley, Sr. was born February 10, 1949, to Willa Grace Mathis and Billy Alfred Mobley in McAlester, OK. He passed from this life on June 23, 2022, at the age of 73, to join his beloved wife, Mona Jean Mobley.
