LONDON (AP) — “The Crown,” Netflix’s acclaimed series about Queen Elizabeth II and her family, has paused production due to the monarch’s death. A spokesperson for the series said production was paused on Friday “as a mark of respect” and will also be suspended on the day of the queen’s funeral.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — David A. Arnold, a comedian who was a producer of the “Fuller House” reboot and the creator and showrunner of Nickelodeon’s “That Girl Lay Lay,” has died.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) released the following statement in remembrance of the upcoming anniversary of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, honoring the men and women who lost their lives and the first responders and service members who continue to fight the global War on Terrorism: “Our nation mourns as we remember that fateful day: September, 11, 2001. We must never forget the 2,977 innocent lives lost and over 6,000 injured when terrorists carried out an attack on our homeland 21 years ago or their family members and loved ones who had to continue on after this awful tragedy. We remember our first responders for their bravery that day and those who continue to put themselves in harm’s way for our country. The terrorists tried to steal our sense of security, but they failed. America rose up and rebuilt, but the fight is not over.

This applies to both social institutions such as marriage and family, and to government institutions such as the Supreme Court and the Presidency, Reflecting on the many roles we play as family members and citizens helps us better understand the truth of that statement and how those expectations guide our actions.

DEAR ABBY: My husband inherited a nasty habit from his mother. He calls people “crazy” to discredit them so he can win arguments and stifle discussion. I have told him it’s lazy to pass judgment on someone that way. It also shows the world how ignorant he is, because he thinks he’ll win every argument by playing the crazy card -- a personal attack.

DEAR ABBY: I have been with my boyfriend for nine years. Over the last three months or so we have been fighting. It started when I bought a cabinet for our bathroom. When he came home, he threw a hissy fit about it. He told me he didn’t like it and kept yelling at me “’cause I didn’t ask his opinion first.” Then he proceeded to tell me if I want to make changes to get my own house.
