OKLAHOMA CITY — It’s no easy task for a squad to rally from a ninepoint deficit with only 2:12 left in a game. The Ardmore High School boys basketball team would say otherwise as the Tigers did just that Saturday to force overtime.

It’s safe to say the Ardmore High School baseball team kept the home fans on the edge of their seats during Friday’s home opener. The Tigers took care of business though, as they defeated Sulphur in exciting fashion with a 5-4 walk-off win to give Chad Rogers his first victory as head coach.

STILLWATER, Okla. – Bryce Thompson made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 19.4 seconds left and Oklahoma State beat No. 12 Texas Tech 52-51 on Saturday, eliminating the Red Raiders from the Big 12 title race.
LAS VEGAS – Christopher Bell won the first pole of his career and will lead the field to green Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Bell turned a lap at 182.673 mph in Saturday qualifying to put his Toyota from Joe Gibbs Racing on the pole.
WNBA All-Star Brittney Griner was arrested last month at a Moscow airport after Russian authorities said a search of her luggage revealed vape cartridges. The Russian Customs Service said Saturday that the cartridges were identified as containing oil derived from cannabis, which could carry a maxi mum penalty of 10 years in prison.
