Clifford Brawley was born November 25, 1931 to Mertis (Richardson) and Albert Anderson Brawley in Brock, OK. He passed from this life on August 20, 2022 at the age of 90. Clifford was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School in the class of 1950. It was there he met the love of his life, Patsy Burch. They married on December 14, 1950 in Abner, OK. Clifford and Patsy made their home in Ardmore.
He began working for Bell Refinery in 1954 as a lab technician. Bell Refinery was bought out by Total and Clifford remained there until his retirement in 1993. Clifford enjoyed gardening, working on trucks, fishing, and taking trips in his RV. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Brawley, son Ronald D. Brawley, parents Albert and Mertis Brawley, brothers Grady Brawley and Wayne Brawley, and sisters Alice Harris and Bartie Holidy.
He is survived by his son Gary Brawley and his wife Susan; brother Ray Brawley and his wife Pat; grandchildren Chris, Cody, Brooke, Shawn, Corey, and Ariel; great grandchildren Payton, Blake, Michael, Austin, Jessamyn, Katelyn, River, Kasen, Easton, Kelsie, Shiloh, and one on the way; 6 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 25th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Harris and Rev. Dewain Duck officiating. Interment will follow at Crinerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home. Shawn Brawley, Corey Brawley, Eric Brawley, Kevin Stinson, Johnny Harper, and Bryant Harris will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www. craddockfuneralhome.com
