In “Unravel” eleven artists showcase a vibrant collection of fiber-inspired artworks, ranging from large to small scale and brimming with expressive storytelling. This diverse exhibition includes over a hundred works, featuring the Qu’aint Collective, a group of six artists, quilters: Agnes Stadler, Ann Solinski, Brenda Esslinger, Elizabeth Richards, Sarah Atlee and painter: Jason Wilson, creating quilts and paintings that reflect and inspire each other’s visions; Nosheen Iqbal, who combines fibers and wood to create something handmade using unconventional techniques; Darci Lenker, specializing in realistic miniature thread painting embroidery; Mark Lewis, translates the Oklahoma urban landscape into life-sized collages using paper, graphite, watercolor and fiber; Sarah Robl, who combines color, geometric shapes, and symmetry in layered and stitched watercolor-paper compositions; Irmgard Geul, who applies hand embroidery and loose thread over painted acrylic Oklahoma landscapes.
