With Independence Day coming up on Thursday, there are a number of events for the whole family that will be taking place in our area lasting through Saturday. To help you make your plans, here is a list of some of the events.
Lake Murray State Park
The Ardmore Tourism Authority and Lake Murray State Park will present the annual July 4th fireworks show at Lake Murray on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Fireworks will begin at dark, approximately 9:30 p.m., from the Radio Flying Field. The event is free and open to the public. Earlier in the Day, a come-and-go craft event will take place at Tucker Tower Nature Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a guided hike along Buckhorn Trail will begin at 10 a.m. at Tipps Point trailhead.
Davis
A family-fun event will take place at Fullerton Park in Davis beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5. Food trucks will be available and live entertainment will be provided by the TJ Todd Band and Emily Rhyne. The fireworks show will begin at dark.
Kingston (Lake Texoma)
The West Bay Casino and Resort will have a celebration beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 5. The event will include games, a beer garden and live music from Jon Stork beginning at 8 p.m. The fireworks over the lake will begin at dark.
Ringling
Ringling will be hosting their annual fireworks display on Friday, July 5 at the softball field. The gates will open at 7 p.m. with the fireworks beginning at dark.
Healdton
The City of Healdton 4th of July Celebration will be at dusk Saturday, July 6at the Healdton Lake. There will be food trucks in addition to the fireworks show.
Sulphur
The Artesian Hotel and Casino will be hosting Arbuckle Beats and Bites beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 6. The event will include food trucks and live music provided by the TJ Todd Band. The fireworks show will begin at dark.
