Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.

The HFV Wilson Community Center will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Celebration Jan. 25. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. with the celebration following. The keynote speaker will be Quinton Jones, who serves as the assistant vice president of student affairs and the Title IX coordinator at Murry State College. The center is located at 625 E. Main St. in Ardmore.

Prepare for spring

There will be a plant swap from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Jan. 25 at PJ’s Plants and Nutrition-Garden Supply. There will be free starter plants and the Carter County OSU Extension office will be present. PJ’s is located at 700 N. Commerce St. in Ardmore.

Head to Heritage Hall

Braxton Keith and guest Caden Gillard will take the stage at 6 p.m., Jan. 25 at Heritage Hall. General admission is $25 at Stubwire.com or $30 the day of the concert. VIP Pit is also available for $40 advance and $45 the day of the concert. Heritage Hall is located at 2646 W. Broadway in Ardmore.

An introspective look at Oklahoma politics

State of the State 2025 will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Jan. 30 at the Ardmore Convention Center. Receive updates and insights from the legislative session from local state leaders. Tickets are $30 and reservations are required by Jan. 28. To make a reservation, call 580-223-7765.

An intimate evening of music

Enjoy the Broadway hits at the Jerome Westheimer Center for Performing Arts Feb. 7. Dare to be lucky while supporting a good cause. The HFV Wilson Community Center will host 80’s Bingo Night at 6 p.m. Feb. 8. The cost for bingo cards is $25 per person. Boot scooting fun

Enjoy a night out at the 2025 Boots & Bowties Ball. The event will be at 6 p.m., Feb. 8 at the Ardmore Convention Center. The cost is $100 per ticket with the ball benefiting the Carter County Livestock Show. The evening will feature dinner, dancing along with a live and silent auction. See Ardmore shine at the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala. The event will be at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Ardmore Convention Center.
