Toddler time
The Ardmore Family YMCA is inviting children ages six months to four years old along with a parent or grandparent to take part in an interactive morning of fun. The class will be from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., each Tuesday morning. Fitness and dance professional Kelsey Armstrong serves as the instructor.
Women’s Day event
The HFV Wilson Community Center will host a Women’s Day Celebration at 4 p.m., March 29 at the Murray State College Event Center. There will be a speaker, panel discussions and networking opportunities. The cost for the event is $30. The event center is located at 108 E. Main St. in Ardmore.
Get lucky
The Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma Casino Night 2025 will be at 6:30 p.m., March 28 at the Ardmore Convention Center. Proceeds benefit victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Feast for a cause
The Criner Hills Volunteer Fire Department will host a Hamburger Cookout and Dessert Auction fundraiser on April 12. Live music will start at 5:30 p.m. and the meal will start at 6 p.m. The fire station is located at 3346 Countyline Road in Overbrook. Spring cleaning
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 12 at the Ardmore Public Works Building, which is located at 317 Highway 142 E. Ardmore. Bring items in sturdy containers or boxes and if possible, keep items in original labeled containers. Also, do not mix items together. Items accepted are extra paint, paint thinners, mercury, pesticides/herbicides, pool chemicals, household chemicals or cleaners, bleach and other solvents. The event is for residential only.
A magical evening
The Jerome Westheimer Performing Arts Center will host The Magic of Rob Lake at 7 p.m., April 12. Lake is one of the world’s most celebrated illusionists, performing from Times Square to Las Vegas, Dubai and beyond. Visit ajwpac.org for ticket information.

The Sara’s Project Chair-ity Nite fundraiser will be at 6 p.m., May 3 at the Ardmore Convention Center. Tickets are $100 with proceeds going toward support of Sara’s Project. Raising funds in Springer
The Springer Volunteer Fire Department will host a BBQ Fundraiser at 6 p.m., May 3 at the Springer Community Center. The evening will feature live music and an auction. Bring a lawn chair and join in the fun.
Support the Lions
The Ardmore Lions Club will host its Annual Poker Run from noon to 4 p.m., May 18 at Central Park. Hands cost $20 with $10 for each additional hand.
