Jewel “Judy” Keyes

Jewel “Judy” Faye Keyes, of Lone Grove, OK, was born February 21, 1931, in Hickory, Oklahoma. The daughter of the late Almon L. Trobaugh and Martha J. (Lafever) Trobaugh.

She married the love of her life and soul mate, Ralph Melvin Keyes Jr., on November 29, 1947 in Gainseville, Texas. They had the kind of marriage that God intended for every couple. She passed away at her home at the age of 91 on June 4, 2022, and was looking forward to reuniting with Ralph in Heaven. Per her wishes, she spent her last days at home surrounded by her family and friends, who love her so much.

In her leisure time she enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and working in her flowerbeds. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, to whom she is known as “mamma”. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, mamma, sister, and friend. She made everyone always feel welcome in her home and spoiled them with her cooking and love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and twelve siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories; Sons, Larry Keyes and wife Jan, and Don Keyes. Daughter, Linda Hess and husband Jay. Grandchildren, Shane Hess and wife Tracy, Chrystal Tanner and husband Jon, Kari Hess and husband Darin, Jennifer Trotter and husband Anthony, Jessica Flanagan and husband Cole, Brooke Banks and husband Kyle, and Robert Melvin Keyes. Great Grandchildren, Dylan, Jesse, McKenzie, Ryan, Dalton, Caitlin, Madison, Baylor, Kenadea, Aubrey, Bronc, Hayden, Piper and Ava. Great-Great Grandchildren, Riddick, Elijah, Astrid, Journee, Koda, and Kaeston.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, in the Garden of Pines. The family will receive friends at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8, from 6-7:30 p.m.
