Judith A. Woulfe Ford (Judy)

Judy was born the second child of seven to Aileen and “Fats” Calvin Woulfe on May 23rd 1940, in Fox, Oklahoma. She departed this life on May 24th, 2022, following a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren.

Judy graduated high school from Fox, Oklahoma and went to work for Bell Telephone as an operator. Judy married Woodsie (William) Ford, gave birth to daughters Ginger and Cindy, and remained married until Woodsie’s death in 1994. Throughout their marriage they lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming, and Mississippi.

Judy never met a stranger, which is why she enjoyed her jobs as a telephone operator and receptionist so much. If not with her grandkids, her next favorite things were football, bull riding, square dancing and clogging, but most of all she loved to shop.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Ginger Ford and Cindy Ford Campbell (Scotty Campbell); grandchildren Skylar Finklea (Lacey Solomon), Chandler Finklea (Akida Hill), Wiilliam Doan and Shelby Doan; siblings, Gary Woulfe (Barbara), Jane Woulfe, and Bill Woulfe; and numerous cousins, nephews, great nephews, nieces, and great nieces. Judy was preceded in death by husband Woodsie Ford, parents Aileen and Fats Woulfe, and brothers James Woulfe, Joe Woulfe, and Jack Woulfe.

A service celebrating Judy’s life will be held in Ardmore, Oklahoma at Emanuel Baptist Church on July 23rd, 2022.
