Larry Harmon was born October 24, 1945, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Vincent and Novella (Harris) Harmon. He passed away from this life on September 12, 2022 in Ardmore. He married Mary Carolyn Martin on August 20, 1966. Larry was a graduate of Fox High School in 1963. He played baseball and football all through high school and was in vocal music his senior year. He went to the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 1963. In the summertime when Larry was out of school, he worked for the Samedan Oil Company. He worked in Oklahoma City at Reavis Drug from 1968 to 1972, Adventist Hospital in Ardmore, Humpty Dumpty Pharmacy in Ardmore, Dave’s Food Center Pharmacy in Ardmore, Jene Lafitte Pharmacy in Tishomingo, Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Ardmore. He retired from Mercy in 2018, after 33 years with Mercy and 50 years as a pharmacist. Larry enjoyed skiing and the outdoors with his son Rusty. He liked to listen to Rush Limbaugh, read science fiction books, and work on Sudoku puzzles. He was proceeded in death by his son, Russell Ray Harmon; parents, Vincent and Novella Harmon; brother, James Thomas Harmon. Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Harmon of the home; daughter, Regina Mischeal Harmon Wright and husband, Larry of Davis, Oklahoma; granddaughters Tonya Marie Campbell and husband, Ian of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Amber Dawn Morris and husband, Courtland of Beaufort, South Carolina; great granddaughter, Riley Rae Morris of Beaufort, South Carolina. Family visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 7:00pm-8:00pm at Craddock Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice and The American Heart Association.
