Memorial services for Laura Hunt are scheduled for Saturday, February 4th at 3:00 p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Randall Richards officiating.

Laura Hunt was born March 30, 1970 to Denise A. Weidenbach and Lawrence S. Kopera in Detroit, MI. Her family moved from Detroit, MI to Ardmore, Ok when Laura was only 1. She grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma and attended Plainview School, graduated in 1988. Since Laura was a Sooner fan, she decided to attend the University of Oklahoma and later graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. She later became a counselor. Laura was an artsy person who loved working on crafts. She made scrapbooks featuring her 3 beautiful daughters. Her favorite saying to them was “I love you to the stars and back”. She also loved a good scary movie, listening to music, cooking, and the outdoors. She enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing. Her friends remember her as a fun loving person with an infectious smile.

She passed from this life on January 27, 2023 at the age of 52. Laura was preceded in death by her parents Denise Kopera and Lawrence Kopera.

She is survived by her daughters Carly Hunt, Brooke Hunt, and Halle Hunt; step daughter Cassidy Bliss and her husband Tadd; stepson Blake Hunt and his wife Tandra; brother David Kopera and his wife Robyn; sister Debbie Travis and her husband J.D.; Aunts Beverly Hoeksema and her husband Bob and Marianne Sakowsky and her husband David; Uncle Raymond Weidenbach and his wife Carolyn; and nieces Kampbell Kopera and Madison Travis.
