Funeral services for Pauline L’Heureux Stolfa will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dowdell officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery with the assistance of Riley Beard, Todd Kutchenthal, Anthony Stolfa, Bernard Stolfa, Kevin Stolfa and David Tresp serving as pallbearers; and honorary bearers, Ryan Sanders and Zach Pratt.

A time of visitation and support for family and friends has been set from 6 to 7 p.m. 

Thursday at Harvey--Douglas Funeral Home, with a Rosary Devotional to follow at 7 p.m. in the Centennial Chapel.

Pauline was born June 7, 1922, at Upland, Neb., to the late Roland J. and Alice J. Choquette L’Heureux; she passed from life to life eternal, Friday, April 15, 2016, at Ardmore.

She and James L. Stolfa were married April 26, 1962, in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Campbell, Neb. They were the parents of three children, Roland, Alice and Karen.

The owner and operator of Pauline’s Antiques from 1972 until 1986, she was also an interior decorator. Pauline was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary and of St. Ann’s Women’s Club, both in Campbell, Neb.  After their marriage, Pauline joined her husband in support of the mission work he began in 1937, of support for the Foreign Catholic Overseas Missions of Africa and India; a work they continue until the present.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Paul M. L’Heureux; and two sisters, Cecelia Thoma and Helen Maxson.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Stolfa of the home; a son, Roland Stolfa and wife, Ann, Ardmore; two daughters, Alice J. Kutchenthal and husband, Todd, of San Antonio, and Karen Lynn Sanders of Edmond, Okla.; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and 25 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Building Fund of St. Mary Catholic Church.
