An Ardmore man was injured in a one-vehicle wreck Tuesday evening on I-35, just south of Davis, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
David Eades, 23, was initially transported by Murray County EMS to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, and later transported by Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Eades was admitted in good condition with a leg injury.
Eades allegedly fell asleep while driving northbound on I-35, departing the roadway to the right and striking a guardrail, the report says. The wreck occurred at approximately 7:41 p.m. about 3.5 miles south of Davis in Murray County.
Eades did have his seatbelt on and did not have any passengers, according to the report. No other injuries were reported.
