MADILL — Connie Faye Riner, 64, of Ardmore, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at her home in Ardmore. She was born on April 8, 1952, in Madill, to the late Earnest (Dutch) Harrison and Aline Riggs Harrison. Connie was raised in Lebanon and later married Barney Riner in 1989 in Gainesville, Texas. She moved to Dickson, and worked as the office manager for Riner Construction. Connie was of the Holiness Faith and she enjoyed working out with her Pool Pals, working with Barney and she loved her dogs and cats.
She is survived by her husband, Barney Riner, Ardmore; children, Calvin Arterberry and wife, Misty, Kingston, Chad Riner and wife, Lisa J., Ardmore, Stan Riner, Vietnam, Tracy Riner and wife, Lisa M., Ardmore, and Sandy Ford, Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Taylor Arterberry, Skyla Arterberry, Brandon Arterberry, Aaron Ingle, Kaleb Riner, Joey Riner, Rusty Riner, Rania Riner and Dakota Riner; brothers, Lonnie Harrison and wife, Margie, Kingston, Keith Harrison and wife, Brenda, Wynnewood, and Frankie Harrison, Greenville, Okla.; sisters, Zelma “Bunchy” Barnes and husband, Lynndell, Ellington, Mo., Helen “Lou” Jackson, Balch Springs, Texas, April “Sue” Stephens, Mesquite, Texas, Dorothy Thompson and husband, Wayne, Madill, Rosemary Bundy, Ardmore, and Joyce Riner, Florida; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; Charles Harrison; one sister, Christine Harrison; and two nephews, Wesley Stephens and Joseph Harrison.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at the Keel Cemetery, Madill. Wayne Thomson will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
