MARIETTA — Thomas E. “Tommy” Hudson of Marietta, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at his residence at the age of 63 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Mr. Hudson was born at Sulphur, on June 6, 1953, the son of Johnnie Hudson Sr. and Lola Wanda Brewster Hudson. Although he was born and raised in Sulphur, Tommy had lived most of his life in Love County and had been employed as a millwright for Halliburton. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Wilkins and James Wilkins; and two sisters, Joy Boulter and Linda Withers.

He is survived by two sons, Shane and T.J.; two daughters, Kendra and Melissa; four brothers, David Wilkins and C.R. Wilkins of Sulphur, Johnnie Hudson of Marietta, and Gary Hudson of Comanche; two sisters, Rose Bradley of Atlanta, Texas, and Brenda Eldred of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.
