HEALDTON — Services for Lawanna Williams McCauley, 90, of Healdton are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at the Healdton Bible Baptist Church, formally the Missionary Baptist. Officiating will be Brother Kevin Pridemore and Brother Matthew Furan. Interment will follow at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
Lawanna was born Aug. 14, 1926, at Mill Creek, to Fred and Clara Barham Williams. She past from this life to be with her heavenly Father on Aug. 19, 2016 in Ardmore.
Lawanna was raised in Love and Carter County attending school in Wilson. She married Edward F. “Doc” McCauley at Wichita Falls, Texas, on Dec. 9, 1946.  They made their home in Healdton for several years. She was a loving and caring homemaker, a loving wife to Doc, and a loving and caring mother to Ed and Gayla. She enjoyed crochet, embroidery, and reading. She also enjoyed a lot of time in her yard tending to her plants. She was a Charter Member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Lawanna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doc in March 7, 2007; sisters, Freddie Ivy and Arlene Williams; brother, Glen Williams.
She is survived by her two children and their spouses; Ed and Sue McCauley  of Lone Grove, Gayla and Tracy “Red” Clour of Ratliff City; grandchildren, Lesa and Adam Hefner, Donna and Ricky Roberts, Charles and Kerri McCauley, Staci and Drew Smith, Niki and Ryan Clour; great-grandchildren, Amy Smith, Alyssa Roberts, Chance and Sarah Roberts, Jace McCauley, Jordan Hickman,  Audrey and Jaci Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Kase and Mack Smith, Korie and Nolan Roberts; one sister-in-law, Pete Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons
Visitation will begin Monday morning at Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton
