Nezjoneil Jones, 37, and 39-year-old Kellie Lehman are behind bars facing charges connected to a standoff at a West Main Street barber shop Tuesday night.

Ardmore Deputy Police Chief Kevin Norris said officers responded to The Barber Shop, also known as the Pit Stop, about 9 p.m. after dispatchers received a call of an armed man inside the shop. The first call was followed by a second telephone call reporting the owner of the shop was possibly being held hostage.

After confirming the reports and receiving more information that a woman could also be involved, Norris activated the APD SWAT team and hostage negotiators. Shortly before midnight the standoff ended peacefully with the arrest of Jones and Lehman pending charges of possession a firearm arm after former conviction.

Drug paraphernalia was recovered from the scene. Norris says additional charges are pending and the investigation continues.
