Oklahoma State midfielder Julia Lenhardt has been honored as the latest Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week, it was announced by the league office today.

A native of Frisco, Texas, Lenhardt recorded OSU’s first two goals to lead the Cowgirls to a 4-1 win over Oral Roberts last Sunday. In notching the first two scores of her collegiate career, she also became the first OSU freshman to score multiple goals in a game since 2013.

Lenhardt started both OSU matches last weekend and played 74 minutes against both Oklahoma and ORU. She recorded two shots on the weekend, scoring on each.

OSU has had a player earn a Big 12 soccer weekly award each of the first two weeks of the 2016 season. Courtney Dike captured Player of the Week honors for her performance on the opening weekend of the season.
