MADILL — Lonnie Ray Qualls was born on June 14, 1957, to Letha Mae Chiffer Qualls and Oscar Watson Jr., in Madill. He attended Madill schools. He worked for Uniroyal Tires for seven years then later on went to work at Clint Williams Peanut Company where he worked for 30 years.
Lonnie was an avid domino player and he loved fishing, cookouts with family and friends, woodwork, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother; one sister; a son; a grandson; and his uncle, Joe.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his loving memory Betty Menifee (Qualls) of the home; sons, Lonnie Jr. and wife, Sento of Oklahoma City, Kelly Menifee of Oklahoma City, Willie Menifee of Edmond, and Donald Bowens and wife, Phatima of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Tara Qualls of Oklahoma City, Quasha Buycks and husband, Reggie of Ardmore, and Tiffany Jordan and husband, J.J. of Oklahoma City; sisters, Jenny Watson and Brenda Watson both of Oklahoma City; uncles, Louie Hubert of Madill, and Lafair Abear of Louisiana; 26 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and special close friends, T-bone, Bubby, Hobo, Larry King and Johnie King who will all cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday,  at First Baptist Church in Madill. Officating will be Pastor Sam Huff, Pastor Bobby Davis and Pastor Debra Davis and the internment will be at Old Madill Cemetery in Madill.
Pallbearers will be Steven Cohee, Shawn Epps, Bill Perry, Randy Morris, Larry King, Chris Brown, Ronnie King and Steve Frazier. Honorary pallbearers are Hibbard Humphrey, Leon Brown Jr. and Marlin Gordon.
Family night will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at Browns Chapel in Madill.
