Services for Nathaniel “Nathan” James McElhiney will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at the Ardmore Convention Center with Father Thomas Dowdell officiating. A private rosary will be held at Craddock Memorial Chapel, Wednesday evening with Father Thomas Dowdell. Following the rosary, at 6 p.m., a community visitation will be held for all family and friends to join together. Both will be held at Craddock Memorial Chapel.

Nathaniel James McElhiney was born in Ardmore, on Nov. 10, 2000, to Ryan Shea McElhiney and Angela (England) McElhiney. He passed from this life on Oct. 9, 2016, at his residence at the age of 15.

Nathan attended Ardmore schools his whole life and was currently a sophomore at Ardmore High School. He was ranked first in his sophomore class. He enjoyed participating in Drama Club, Debate Club, and at The Brass Ring, performing and singing with the Broadway Kids. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he worshiped and volunteered.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Ryan and Angie McElhiney; sisters, Kileigh Elizabeth and Kristen Shea; grandparents, Larry and Penny McElhiney, Norman and Debra Kirk, Mike and Carolyn England and Loyce Hixon; aunts and uncles, Tyson and Carrie McElhiney, Ashley England, Amy and Jeremy Smith, Melissa McElhiney and Katie McElhiney; and numerous cousins and friends.

Honorary pallbearers, Gerardo Carillo, Dalton Lantrip, Collin Saner, Mikey Jones, Linh Nyugen, Jessica Lajina, Nathan Brothers, Austin Brothers, Frank Good, Craig Good, Bob Nunelee, Brian Gunter, Ira Bane, Kane Bass and Noelia Rodriguez.
