For local small businesses, there's not always time and money available
for the Œextras,' especially the resources to work with a dedicated
marketing team. At Insight Creative Group (ICG), they get that. Ten years
ago they launched their agency with a lot of uncertainty, and even bigger
ideas.
Fast-forward a decade, and the risk has paid off. Now a full-service
branding, marketing and advertising agency, ICG has planted itself
downtown in a converted industrial building in Automobile Alley, and as
this area of town has flourished, ICG has grown up with it. ICG has a
portfolio of successful branding and advertising campaigns that can be
seen throughout Oklahoma City and beyond.
To celebrate their 10-year anniversary, ICG wants to share what they've
learned over the years with a deserving local business.
"We know what it's like to take a chance on an idea you believe in ‹ we've
been there,"said Rusty Duncan, one of the three partners, alongside Eric
Joiner and Doug Farthing. "Thanks to people giving us a chance, we have
found success, and now we want to help another Oklahoma City business
succeed."
ICG has chosen the holiday season as the perfect time to give back, and
this week kicked off their Brand-Aid 2016 contest. The goal is to have
residents nominate their favorite places in the OKC metro that they feel
would benefit most from a brand facelift.
"At Insight Creative Group, we believe in investing in people,"said
Joiner. "That means finding out who they are and telling their personal
stories. We help others see the best in a business, as well as the people
and values behind it."
ICG is pulling in some other local businesses to complete a full branding
package for the winning business. "One important thing we've learned is
that you need good partners, so we're excited to join with the Oklahoma
Shirt Company, Quik Print and Cumulus Media to give the chosen
establishment the big business treatment,"said Duncan. ICG will gift the
winner with a full brand overhaul, including logo, business print, a TV
and radio commercial, website and photography.
The deadline for nominations is December 9. On Friday, December 23rd, the
winner will be revealed, and the work will get underway over a two-week
long process in January.
Farthing encourages people to get involved and help ICG find a deserving
small business. "Frequent an establishment you are thankful for? Have a
business and want a fresh start? Don't wait. Help us help the city we
love."
