Memorial services for Betty Jo Yarbrough Terry will be at 2 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2016, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory. Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the services at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
Born to the late Jack” Red” Riddle and Beulah Leann Chitwood Riddle, February 12, 1925, at Ardmore, Betty grew up and attended school here. A bookkeeper by profession, she had been the owner of Granny B’s day-care for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church where she had served as an Elder.
Following a period of failing health, Betty passed from life to life eternal, Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Mercy Hospital of Love County; at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 1 day.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Yarbrough Brayton; a son, Robert Dale Yarbrough; a sister, Lou Currie; and brother, Jack Riddle.  
Betty is survived by a son, Gary Yarbrough and his wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Eric Yarbrough and his wife, Brandy, Leah Yarbrough, Robert Joseph Yarbrough and his wife, Erin, Samantha Davis and her husband, Jason, Larry Walk, Jr., Thomas Walk, Cayla Tyro, and Todd Yarbrough; sister, Peggy Harvey and her husband, Cecil “Bub;” numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Zeny Yarbrough; and other extended family.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
