Last time the Ardmore Tigers took on Lawton MacArthur, the scoreline wasn’t even close.

The Highlanders got a run in the bottom of the first and in the bottom of the fifth, registering just one hit in the contest. Ardmore put together six hits, but had four errors in the game.

Ardmore will be back at Valero Park Monday afternoon at 5 p.m. taking on Duncan.

Plainview 8 Dickson 0 F/5

Last time the Plainview Indians and Dickson Comets got together in the LCC Tournament, there were plenty of fireworks to go around.

However, Friday night the only fireworks to be found came off the bats of the Indians as they claimed a shutout victory in eight innings.

Spencer Flatt got the scoring started in the bottom of the first with a two-RBI single to right field.

It was 3-0 for the Indians in the second when Michael Greisman was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, bringing home Eli Paul. Paul would make it 4-0 in the third with an RBI single to left.

Bryce Smith added another for Plainview with an RBI single to right, before a sacrifice fly RBI from Blake Barnard made it 6-0. Smith would finish the inning off by scoring on a wild pitch.

Clay Christensen made it 8-0 in the fourth when he stole home.

Aidan Long got the win on the mound for Plainview, throwing five innings of work. He allowed just one hit with one walk and three strikeouts.

Jacob Reams took the loss for Dickson, throwing four innings of work. He allowed six earned runs on nine hits with two walks and two strikeouts.
