Funeral services for Brandon Joe Bruner, D.D.S., 38, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory conducted by the Reverend David Gardner. Burial with military honors will be at 4 p.m. in Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City, Okla.
Born Oct. 10, 1978, in Pawhuska, Okla., Brandon was the son of Edward J. and Jacqueline D. Center Bruner. Brandon was raised in Healdton and graduated in 1997. He received a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a Master’s in Public Health from OU. He received his doctorate of dentistry from Marquette University.
He married the former Gretchen Woulfe June 25, 2005, here in Ardmore and to this union was born two daughters, Madeline and Eden.
Brandon was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy Uniformed Services serving in the Public Health Division. He worked at the Indian Health Services in Anadarko, Okla. He enjoyed hunting and golf, was an Avid OU fan and loved the Milwaukee Brewers. His biggest love was his two little girls.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Gretchen and daughters, Madeline and Eden of the home; his parents, Edward and Jackie Bruner; brother, Jacob Bruner and his wife, Esther; his sister, Katina Bruner; nephew, Lee Bruner; and niece, Lyla Bruner.
