James William Daniel, 90, of Mannsville, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Southbrook Health Care Facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  He was born on July 16, 1926 in Healdton, Oklahoma to the late William Philander Daniel and Florence Ivy Mabry Daniel.  James was raised in Healdton and later moved to Fort Worth, Texas.  He married Marie Baker on November 26, 1952 in Fort Worth.  James worked for 40 years as a Pressman at Container Corporation of America in Fort Worth before moving to Mannsville in 1990 where he lived the rest of his life.   James was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mannsville and he enjoyed gardening, fishing, being outdoors and watching birds. His passion was his custom egg hatching business which he enjoyed for several years.   
He is survived by wife: Marie Daniel, Mannsville, Oklahoma, children: James (Jim) R. Daniel and wife Ann, Denton, Texas,  Tommy L. Daniel and wife Cathy, Duncanville, Texas,  three Grandchildren: Jammie Winter and husband Max, Brittany Daniel, Megan Daniel, sisters,   Sue Moore and husband Haskell, Ardmore, Oklahoma, Carrie L. Morris, Mannsville, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Ethan Cole, two brothers, Bobby and Allen Daniel, four sisters, Dollie Stephens, Mollie Lagow, Ollie Davidson and Anna Daniel. 
Services will be at the First Baptist Church, Mannsville, Oklahoma, July 3, 2017 at 10:00 am.  Kevin Russell will officiate the service. Music arranged by Karoleen Hagood.  Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
