Early Thursday morning, the Carter County Sheriff’s Department and the Ardmore Police Department served a search warrant for the residence of Martell Revish, in the 700 block of Masters Street in southeastern Ardmore.
Deputies and officers found a large quantity of what field tested as methamphetamine along with two pistols, according to a press release from the Carter County Sheriff’s Department. Also seized were scales, unused plastic baggies and marijuana.
According to the press release, the joint effort netted approximately 34 grams of meth.
Revish wasn’t home when deputies and police served the search warrant, but was later arrested at an apartment in Ardmore.
Revish was booked into the Carter County jail on charges of trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.
According to court records, Revish had previously been charged with possession of meth in July, along with other charges dating back to 2011.
Sheriff Chris Bryant said the joint effort between the CCSD and APD would continue as both departments try to tackle the ongoing drug epidemic.
