Services for Lillian Joan Coe, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Dr. Walt Spradling officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
A time of visitation and support for the family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at the funeral home.
The daughter of the late Clarence Estes and Iva VanMeter Bailey, Lillian was born Dec. 12, 1932, at Wewoka and passed away at her rural Ardmore residence Dec. 31, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Lillian graduated from Madill High School, the class of 1951, and attended a year of college. In 1956 she was married to Leon Coe. Leon preceded her in death.  
A member of CrystalRock Cathedral, Lillian worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone and became a chief operator and was a plant assigner when she retired. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Union Steward with Communications Workers of America and was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Bowen and husband Timothy; Nancy Maria Hallock and husband Philip; and Melissa Hall; her grandchildren, Jackie Brown and wife, Edith, Christina Locklear and husband, Kevin, Matthew Moeller, Christopher and Dalen Hall; great-grandchildren, Maisie, Blaine and Brookelyn Brown, Greenley and Kinsley Locklear; and a great-great grandson, Bentley.
The family wanted to personally thank Ideal Home Care for their “kind, caring and excellent care of our momma for 17 years, and to Brenda Noland, who went above and beyond her job, you are like family.”
