Services for Ivory Jo Harris are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Warren Memorial Church in Ardmore with Kirk Rushing officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Craddock Funeral Home.
Ivory Jo Harris was born Oct. 26, 1954 to Ivory M. (Adams) and Jerry W. Harris Sr., in Ardmore. She passed from this life on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at the age of 63.
Ivory was an incredibly bright, outgoing person who l was very easy to talk to. She had many interests, including music, writing and OU football. Ivory loved her family and thoroughly enjoyed taking care of her kids, nieces and nephews.
Ivory was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry W. and Ivory Harris; brother, Jerry W. Harris Jr.; ans sisters, Jerry Lynn Harris, Paula Harris, Julia Kay Harris and Kathy Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Turischevia “Trish” Harris; son, Valente Harris; sisters, Leslie Douglas and Julia Fay Harris; grandchildren, Tashon Harris, Yasmine Harris, LaKrissa Harris, Mikole Harris, Thomontez Harris and Valente Harris Jr.; nieces, Stacy Harris, Kendra Harris, Lisa Harris and Shena Harris; nephews, Monte Harris, Jason A-Bear and Chris Booker; and numerous cousins.
Monte Harris, Jason A-Bear, Larry King, Bubba Dorsey, Dominic Wheeler and Valente Harris will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Zawntae Wheeler. Flower girls are Mona Harris, Isaha Vailey, Kira Wheeler and Nayana Wheeler.
