Billy Keith Ditto was born Oct. 2, 1958, in Artesia, Calif., to Billy Charles and Ruth Elizabeth Ditto. He passed from this life on March 14, 2018, at the age of 59. Billy moved to Ardmore in 1979 and began working as a roustabout for Seals Well Service. That summer, his Aunt Sharon introduced him to Kim Simmons and they were married on July 25, 1980. They had two daughters, Pamela and Cheryl. He began working at Uniroyal as a tire builder in June of 1984, where he made many lifelong friends, and stayed there until he retired after 30 years and one day.
Being a devoted, loving husband and father was one of his greatest gifts. The role he loved the most was being Pop to Jagger (nine), Ava (five), and Cooper (six months). Having his family around was what he loved the most and cherished until the very end.
He is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home; daughters, Pamela Moreland and her husband, Wesley, of Ada and Cheryl Jackson and her husband, Brian, of Ardmore; brother, Roger Ditto and his wife, Donna, of Overbrook; sister, Nancy Ladell Gates and husband, Larry, of California; and his grandchildren, Cooper Keith Moreland, Jagger Jackson and Ava Jackson. In addition, a large extended loving family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Ditto; mother, Ruth Ditto; grandparents, Velter and Nancy Keith, Tom Ditto, and Roy and Oma Dell Rogers; and brother, Charlie Ditto.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Mashunkashay, Tony Keith, Gary Keith, Clint Keith, Curtis Pierce, Randy Pierce and Sam Ditto.
