HEALDTON — Services for Scott Alexander, 38, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Assembly of God Church in Healdton with Bro. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn. Services will be under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Scott was born on March 16, 1980, in Ardmore. He departed this life on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
Scott was raised and lived in Healdton for most of his life. He graduated from Healdton High School with the class of 1999. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of the Sig Taus and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education in 2010. Scott also graduated from Oklahoma’s Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training in 2014. Scott had a son, Tyson, who was born on July 11, 2007. He married Amy Johnson Alexander on Dec. 27, 2014. He enjoyed watching OU football and the OKC Thunder. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy in life was being Tyson’s daddy.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Virginia “Granny Ginga” Higginbotham and Mildred “Granny Mill” Palmer.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; son, Tyson Scott Alexander; mother, Christine Handcock; father, Carl Handcock; sisters, Amanda Patty and husband, Noah, Brandy Doyle, and Kelle Tuttle and husband, Patrick; brother-in-law, Josh Johnson and wife, Maleah; “brother-by-choice”, Josh Estep and wife, Amanda; nieces, Delaney, Lily, Emree and Aubree; nephews, Lane, Cameron and Jarrett; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Sanchez, Lane Blanton, Ben Keel, Shyenne Handcock, Josh Waddle, Josh Estep and Zane Estep.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton.
