William Frank James, Jr. 80, of Mannsville, Okla. passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was born on November 26, 1937, in Roff, Okla. to the late William Frank James, Sr. and Sybil Bell James.  Frank was raised in Roff and Fitzhugh, Okla. before moving to Mannsville where he graduated from the Mannsville High School.  He married Shirley Deon Dewbre on Dec. 21, 1957, in Mannsville and she preceded him in death on June 1, 2002. Frank joined the United States Army and served for 4 years.  He moved to Ardmore and worked as a truck driver before going to work for Johnston county as Road Foreman.  Frank became County Commissioner of District #3 for several years before retiring.  He was a member of the Mannsville Methodist Church in Mannsville and he enjoyed team roping and Horse Racing
He is survived by fiancé:                                Johnnie Ruth Williams, Fort Worth, Texas. Children: John Craig James, Mannsville, Okla., James Kevin James and wife Alicia, Morro Bay, California, William Blake James and wife Anna, Mannsville, Okla., Teia Dion Martin and husband Brad, Ardmore, Okla. 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Brothers W. F. James and wife Pauline, Cushing, Okla.                                                 Ricky Don James and wife Thersa, Oakland, Okla. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother; Dennis and 2 sisters; Jean Chaffin and Betty Copeland.  
Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla., from Noon to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Mannsville United Methodist Church, Mannsville, Okla. Frank Simpson will officiate the Service.  Interment will be at the Mannsville, Cemetery, Mannsville, Okla..  Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
