Patty Ann Futch
November 5, 1955-April 2, 2018
To all the amazing friends and family of our dear Patty, as we poured over your signatures, cards and other tributes, it was such a comfort to feel your connection to Patty. We are humbled by your loving acts of kindness, food prepared, phone calls, prayers lifting us up, your visits hugs, the beautiful flowers, plants and donations made in her memory to churches, schools, and music programs.
We will forever be thankful for all of you who helped us celebrate patty’s life, before, during and after her service. We must say a special thanks to Watts Funeral Home for their guidance and professional direction through the funeral process, to Northwest Baptist Church staff and facilities, Madill Hispanic Catholic Rosary and to Patty’s Dickson Elementary School teacher friends for the great family meal. Our gratitude goes out to Wanda Douglas and her memorable vocal talents. Dr. Doug Miller, for his heartfelt message through the eyes and the heart of dear friend, to Patty’s nephew Brandon Hunter, Frisco, Texas, who shared the very real story of the Easy Bake oven to Nate Durbin for his friendship and oversight of the sound system and her long time friend Diane Boland for the magnificent piano recessional of When The Saints Go Marching In! We have assurance that Patty is singing in the Heavenly choir. She is no longer troubled with diabetes and dialysis but has been restored to the perfection of those living in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Amen!
If in our grief we have failed to acknowledge your kindness, please forgive us. Also, we are hoping to publish a book of Patty’s humorous experiences as a teacher, friend and musician. We had encouraged her to write these memories herself, but our family is going to attempt to capture her magic. If you see us in the community please stop us and share your Patty stories. Or send us your Patty memories to ( so we can assure that her love of life and big laugh lives on.
