A juvenile was found dead after an apparent accidental drowning at Turner Falls Tuesday afternoon, Davis police confirmed.
Three juveniles were swimming at the Turner Falls pool in Davis Tuesday, but only two returned to the surface Davis Assistant Chief of Police Dee Gregory said.
Davis police were notified at 3:53 p.m. and had officers on the scene within minutes. The body was recovered at 6:18 p.m. by the Lighthorse Police emergency dive team.
Police did not release identifying information on the juvenile due to the age of the victim.
The drowning is reportedly the first of the year at Turner Falls.
