Memorial services for Kay Cherrille Clark Mashore, 78, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the United Methodist Church of Lone Grove, Okla., with Rev. Les Bussell, Rev. Cody Biby and Rev. Jeremy Surrat officiating. 
Cherrille is the daughter of the late John “Jake” Marvin Clark and Ruth (Bell) Clark, and was born on Aug. 7, 1939, in Pharr, Texas. Cherrille passed away on May 26, 2018, at her home in Lone Grove, Okla.
She and Bob were married on April 6, 1959, in Kingsville, Texas, and enjoyed 59 years of marriage.
A graduate from Alice High School, Alice, Texas, Cherrille attended college at Texas A&I in Kingsville, Texas, and later earned a Bachelors of Arts in Education and then a Masters in Special Education from East Central  University in Ada, Okla. While growing up, Cherrille loved playing games with her family and as an adult she loved scrapbooking, working puzzles, reading and collecting cookbooks. Cherrille had a passion for golf and won many honors. She loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She always looked forward to spending time with those who came by to visit.  She and  Bob loved to travel visiting Hawaii, Europe, the Caribbean and most of the U.S.  She was a member of the Oklahoma Education Association, the National Education Association and the Ardmore First United Methodist Church.  Cherrille taught many years in Fox, Beggs and Dickson Schools. She retired from teaching from Dickson Schools in Dickson, Okla.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, two brothers, Bobby Clark and David Clark, and two sisters, Melissa Clark and Mary Ann Clark Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband Bob of the home; daughter, Gay Lynn and husband Reverend Les Bussell of Snyder, Okla.; 3 grandchildren, Tre’ Bussell of Snyder, Okla., Melissa and husband Cody Biby of Alamosa, Col. Jacob and wife Kim Bussell of Earlsboro, Okla.; 7 great-grandchildren, Bailee, Malachi and Rylee Biby, Noel and Evi Bussell, Josiah and Elizabeth Bussell; brother and sister in law, Jack and Shelia Clark; sister in law, Linda Clark, sister in law, Terri Clark; brother in law, Terry Johnson and many nieces , nephews and special  friends.
We want to say thank you to Ideal Home Care for the great job they did with mom and also to Cross Timbers Hospice, they were awesome with mom.  We greatly appreciate all their work and care. Cremation-With-Care was provided by the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory.
