The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting a collision with injuries on Interstate 35 northbound at mile marker 42.
The incident occured Monday at 7:20 a.m. approximately two miles north of Ardmore.
The vehicle involved was a 2003 Ford pickup driven by Schuyler C. Stewart, 35, of Sulphur. Stewart and two passengers, Justin Vineyard, 21, of Sulphur, and Joseph James, 34, of Ardmore were not injured.
A third passenger, a 49-year-old woman who has not been identified pending next of kin notification, was transported via Southern OKlahoma Ambulance Service to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City in good condition with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries.
According to the Trooper’s report, the unidentified passenger jumped from the bed of the pickup truck while the vehicle was in motion.
The OHP report shows the condition of the driver to be apparently normal.
