A small earthquake rattled near Wilson this morning.
The 3.1 quake hit at 7:47 a.m. just south of Wilson, near the Love and Carter County border, eight
kilometers southwest of Wilson. Citizens reported the quake as high intensity to the United States Geological Survey.
“It looks like a typical Oklahoma earthquake,” USGS geophysicist Jana Pursley said. “When I look at the wave form, it looks like the small ones we see in Oklahoma, we see them almost every day.”
