Services for Judith Kaye Chappell, 78, of Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ada, Bishop Preston Draper will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Santaquin, Utah, cemetery.
Mrs. Chappell passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at her home. She was born Jan. 23, 1940, at Okemah to Robert Glenn and Nellie Leuella Wilson Ott. 
She married Joe Chappell Feb. 2, 1980, and made their home in Santaquin, Utah. He preceded her in death Oct. 11, 2013. Mrs. Chappell was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Judy was good, generous and kind to everyone she met. She loved to laugh and share a smile with everyone. Judy loved her family very much.
Survivors include two sons, Greg Brumley and wife Jackie of Monte Vista, Colo., and Gary Brumley and wife Cathy, of Montrose, Colo.; four step-daughters, Dorothy (Carl) James, Centerville, Utah; Christine (Milton) Johnson, Hyde Park, Utah; Tamara (Victor) Petersen, West Mountain, Utah;  and JoLyn (Noni) Chappell, Centerfield, Utah; 32  grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenny (Darlene) Ott, of Ardmore; sister-in-law, Kim Ott, Monte Vista, Colo.; and her beloved dog, Casper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Chappell; brother, Dale Ott; and an infant grandson, Jared James.
